Web-based ROM patcher (APS, BPS, IPS, MOD/Star Rod, PPF, UPS, VCDiff/xdelta)
#1
Here's a web-based ROM patcher I made as an offshoot of the work-in-progress site downloads section

https://hack64.net/tools/patcher.php

Currently supported patch formats:
  • APS
  • BPS
  • IPS
  • MOD (Star Rod)
  • PPF
  • UPS
  • VCDiff (xdelta)

Todo:
  • VCDiff secondary compression support
  • Patch creation (maybe)

If you happen to encounter any bugs please report them here.

I haven't changed anything. What error message is it showing, if any?

Hi shygoo,

The web patcher is amazing and I've had great success with it, but I'm running into an error that says "source array too long" when attempting to use an .ips patch for widescreen waverace 64.

What does this mean and what do I need to do to correct?

Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, this should be fixed now.

See if it's working now. If not, let me know the rom/patch combination and I'll see what I can do.

Any plans to support BSL format? i.e. old SNES trainers.

Great work by the way!
