Are luxury watches worth the investment?

I currently own a mid-range Seiko automatic - it’s reliable, looks sharp, and didn’t break the Retro Bowl bank. I think it really depends on what you’re after. Luxury watches like Rolex or Omega are stunning and hold value, but they’re definitely a big investment.
