Are luxury watches worth the investment?

Hey forum members, I'm curious to know, what watches do you all wear? Do you think it's worth investing in an original luxury watch, or is it fine to go for budget-friendly options? I'm torn between whether to buy a designer watch or just stick with a more affordable option. What are your thoughts on high-end brands? Do you think they're worth the price, or would you recommend something more practical instead?

I currently own a mid-range Seiko automatic - it’s reliable, looks sharp, and didn’t break the Retro Bowl bank. I think it really depends on what you’re after. Luxury watches like Rolex or Omega are stunning and hold value, but they’re definitely a big investment.
